Before you create an organisation

Do we have to pay to start?
No. Creating an organisation costs nothing and takes no payment details. There is no automatic renewal and no stored payment mandate — no card token, no standing instruction — so a payment only ever happens when someone in your organisation starts one.
What happens to our data if the trial ends?
Nothing is deleted. Your organisation keeps sign-in, full reading and free export of everything it has uploaded, indefinitely, on the plan it falls back to. Only after six months in which nobody signs in, exports or pays may the data uploaded during a trial that was never paid for be deleted — never without at least four emailed notices starting thirty days beforehand, and any one sign-in, export or payment stops it (Terms §4.7).
Do we need an invitation or a referral code?
No. Sign-up is open: you confirm your email address and create the organisation yourself. The form carries one optional referral code field, and leaving it blank or getting it wrong changes nothing about your account or your price.
Which survey files can we upload?
Vector deliveries: DXF, Shapefile and GeoJSON, validated and processed before publication. Elevation intake — DEM, DSM and GeoTIFF — is not implemented, so the elevation profile, profile comparison and cut-and-fill tools work only on a delivery that already carries a compatible elevation surface. Site photographs and documents can be kept on a project as attachments.
Who can review a delivery with us?
Members of your organisation, at whatever role and scope you give them. A survey can also be shared with another GISweaver organisation, which signs in to its own account to view it — on the plans that include sharing. There are no public links: nothing opens a survey without a sign-in.
What counts as an upload?
One file. It counts towards the month when the transfer completes, and a transfer that fails or is cancelled costs nothing at all. An upload in progress is counted while it runs, so a few can be in flight at once but not an unlimited number.
How do storage, uploads and file size interact?
They are three separate tests. Each file must be at or under the maximum file size, or it is refused whatever else you hold. Each completed upload spends one of the month’s uploads, which resets on the first. And everything you hold counts towards total storage, which does not reset — it goes down when data is removed and up when a delivery lands.
Monthly or yearly — what changes?
Only the length of the period you pay for and what it costs; the quotas and the features belong to the plan and are identical either way. Where a year costs less than twelve months, the saving on the card above is worked out from the live catalogue and rounded down.
Which payment methods can we use?
Payment is taken through an RBI-authorised payment aggregator, presently Razorpay, supporting UPI, net banking, NEFT/RTGS and corporate or credit cards. We never receive or store card numbers or banking credentials, and hold no mandate against your account.
What happens when we reach a limit?
Only the action that would exceed a limit is blocked. Monthly project and upload allowances reset each calendar month. For other limits, reduce the relevant usage where supported (archive a branch, withdraw a pending invitation), choose a smaller file, or change plan. Existing work stays accessible — nothing is ever deleted, hidden or degraded because a limit was reached.
Is a refused action the same as a frozen workspace?
No. A refusal declines one action against one limit and changes nothing else — the rest of the workspace works exactly as it did. A freeze is different: it follows a period that lapsed without payment, never happens without notice given in advance, and stops new work being created until the account is brought back. Sign-in, reading and export continue in both states (Terms §4.6, §5.2).
Can we change plan later?
You can change plan from Billing. Your existing work stays accessible. New activity is checked against your plan’s limits.
What if we stop paying?
Nothing renews by itself, so a plan simply runs to the end of the period you paid for. That period keeps the full plan for a seven-day grace period and the organisation then returns to Free. Fees already paid are generally non-refundable, subject to the exceptions in our terms (§4.5). Stopping never deletes your work — sign-in, read access and export of everything you hold continue.
What happens to our data if we stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. A workspace left dormant may later be frozen so that no new work is created — never without notice given in advance, and sign-in, read access and export continue throughout. Bringing a frozen workspace back may carry a one-time reinstatement charge, which §4.6 permits: it is worked out case by case and stated to you in full before any payment is taken.
What do our invoices carry?
An invoice for every payment, in Indian Rupees, under a serial that is consecutive and unique for the financial year, carrying the SAC code that classifies the service. Whether GST is charged on it is the tax position stated beside the prices above; where it is, your GSTIN and place of supply decide whether the tax is CGST and SGST or IGST.
Where is our data held?
In India. Survey deliveries, workspace data and account records are stored and processed in the India cell in AWS Mumbai and are not transferred out of it to provide the service. Operational email — notices, invitations and receipts — is delivered through a provider and is the disclosed exception; Privacy §8.3 states which data that involves.
